American Rental Association

Enhanced ARA’s new office with branded environments that boosted employee pride, energy, and connection to the organization.

Creating Culture & Pride Through Branded Interior Graphics

This initiative was developed to infuse the new ARA building with branded experiences that reflected the organization’s identity. As employees returned to offices from the pandemic to a space that initially felt like blank walls and cubicles, I designed and transformed key areas with engaging historical graphics highlighting different facets of the ARA brand and its subdivisions. The result brought energy, pride, and a stronger sense of connection to the workplace.

Getting the lay of the land & dreaming of what it could be

Every project is unique, but the creative process follows a familiar rhythm: starting with space measurements, then sketching and concepting based on the project brief. From there, branding and stylistic considerations guide the design, leading into production and implementation to bring the vision to life.

Implementation

Creating realistic mockups of the space helped communicate the vision, scale, and direction for the final design. For this project, I sourced vendors, prepared print-ready files, and considered how materials, scale, and vinyl would perform on different surfaces. By collaborating closely with vendors, we ensured the finished product matched the intended vision.

Final Result

The new graphics were well-received by ARA staff, who appreciated the blend of historical photography with a modern interpretation of the brand. Team members often gave tours to visitors, and Rental Association members were thrilled to see their names featured on the Rental Wall of Fame.
